The Sophomore Seeds of Service Day will be Friday, April 11, 2008. We will be going to a variety of agencies such as Ronald McDonald House, the Jeanne Jugan Retirement Home, Ingleside Retirement Home, St. Mary Magdalene, Claymont Community Center and Sunday Breakfast Mission. It is our goal to take 20 students, one faculty chaperone and at least two parent chaperones to each site. We need assistance with these assignments. A letter is going out this week, August 13th, to ask for volunteers. please let me know if you are able to assist as a parent chaperone.

For students, more information on this day will be forthcoming as we get closer. Please keep in mind that your participation is mandatory. If you cannot attend because of a family vacation or medical absence, you will need to make up your hours on your own and submit proof of these hours by May 1st. You must supply a written note from your parents indicating why you cannot attend. If you do not supply such a note and do not attend the Seeds of Service Day, you are considered as having an unexcused absence and this will be addressed accordingly.
