Prayer
Each morning, the school day begins with prayer. St. Francis de Sales taught us to offer everything to God: each day, each morning, each action. Inspired by the spirit of St. Francis, we begin each day and each class by directing ourselves to God. Placing ourselves in the presence of the Holy One, we pray:
THE DIRECTION OF INTENTION:
MY GOD, GIVE ME THE GRACE TO PERFORM THIS ACTION WITH YOU AND THROUGH LOVE FOR YOU. IN ADVANCE I OFFER TO YOU ALL THE GOOD THAT I MAY DO AND ACCEPT ALL THE DIFFICULTY I MAY MEET THEREIN.
St. Francis de Sales, pray for us!
The day ends with a reading from scripture and is read by a student. Those with special requests are invited to bring them to the Office of Campus Ministry so they will be announced to the school. They may also bring them to the Main Office or they may email Fr. Dominic Ciriaco at dciriaco@salesianum.org.
