Congressional Quarterly: There are four options here: CQ Researcher, U.S. Historic Documents, CQ Supreme Court Collection & CQ Almanac Archive. All have very useful info on present and past government affairs and current events. |

ReferenceSuite@FACTS.com : Facts on File has been producing current event reports for years, all available online here. Also contains the World Almanac, Today’s Science and Issues & Controversies. |

Encyclopedia Britannica Online: This is a very current and well-written encyclopedia. |

OED Online: The Best English Dictionary, bar none. Updated almost daily as new words enter the lexicon. Grove’s Music Online: The complete Grove’s Dictionary of Music plus Grove’s Encyclopedia of Popular Music. Grove’s Art Online: Comprehensive information on artists, art history and theory with examples. Codes for these databases are the same as those for Oxford Reference Online. Code Cards are available in the library. |
