PSAT/NMSQT

(Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)

All Juniors and Sophomores are expected to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 17th.  Please arrive no later than 8am.

Results from the PSAT will be distributed to the students in mid-December during homeroom.  To find out more information on how to use your PSAT scores, go to the College Board's website:  www.collegeboard.com/psatextra.  The College Board recommends extra preparation for those students who have a difference of 7 points or more between their Math and Verbal scores.   

    The PSAT/NMSQT Extra provides free access to: 

* Answers and explanations for ALL questions on the 2007 PSAT/NMSQT 

* Answers and explanations for the higher-level SAT math questions on the back of the PSAT/NMSQT score report 

* Student-written sample essays for the new SAT 

  *Anyone interested in SAT tutoring for the Math and/or Verbal sections should call his Guidance Counselor for more information.**
