This course presents an introduction to basic
concepts of computer programming to students who have no prior
knowledge of programming. The course is designed to introduce
programming concepts such as variables, programming logic, decision
making and repetition to students with little or no experience
in programming. The couse will use the language Scheme to explore
these topics. Scheme provides development software free of charge
for all computer platforms so students can easily explore these
topics at home. This course is open to all students regardless
of their previous level of experience. |
