Mr. Joseph F. Talley has been teaching Health and Physical Education at
Salesianum for 34 years. He went to grade school at St.
Thomas the Apostle in Chester
Heights, Pa.
He graduated from Salesianum in 1969. While there he took second
place in the State Wrestling Tournament and set the State Record in the Pole
Vault at 13'3/4. At West Chester State College he wrestled for two
years, captained the Track Team his Senior Year, held the Indoor Field
House Record at 14'9 and received his Bachelors Degree in Health and
Physical Education. At Salesianum, he coached both Indoor and Outdoor
Track for 17 years and had the pleasure of coaching many State
Champions.
He is certified in the use of freon in both
residential and commercial air conditioners. From 1974 to 1986 he
worked summers installing both heaters and air conditioners. Since
then he has reconditioned houses in the Wilmington Area and North Wildwood.
Hobbies: computers, ping pong, basketball, weight lifting,
dancing, auctions, fishing and boating.
