Now we begin the implementation of our Middle States Strategic Plan. We must document our progress adequately. In 2008, a member of the Validation Team will come for a one day Mid-Point Review visit. At that time, we will need to present to him or her evidence of our progress towards realizing our Objectives.
With that in mind, the Action Team leaders for each of the Five Objectives have begun collecting all of the necessary information and documentation we need to show the Visiting Team in 2008. Of course, not all of the Action Steps need to be completed this year and many are ongoing. We thank the Action Team leaders for all of their work and organization in the completion of the Action Plans. We need to formally document each Action step. Every-time an action plan is completed or implemented we will then fill out a form, provide proper documentation, and we put them all in a binder so that when the Mid-Point Review occurs, we are organized.
Thanks also to all of the members of the Salesianum community: Faculty, Staff, Adminstration, Students, Parents, Board Members, Our Provinical, The Oblates, Alumni, Friends, etc... for all of their hard work in preparing for the visit in November 2005 and, in advance, for their cooperation with the Action Team leaders and with the entire Implementation Process. This was a community effort in preparation for Middle States and should remain a community effort during the Implementation phase.
There will be a Planning Committee meeting in May 2006 to assess how the Implementation
Process is going.
