Research Paper

AP Psychology – Term Paper

You may choose any topic from the AP Psychology course as a theme for your paper. The paper must be at least 10 pages in length, double spaced, with no greater than a 12 point font. Please have your theme and topic approved by the teacher before you begin work.

The following is an alternative to the standard term paper:

- Do reviews of three articles from a magazine or journal on psychology. Each review must be at least 3.5 pages in length, double spaced, with no greater than a 12 point font. Copies of the articles must be handed in with the reviews.

AP Psychology – Research Project

You will be given a lot of freedom in selecting the style and format for your research project. Keep in mind that the project will be the final exam grade for the course.

Some suggestions:

- Recreate an experiment we have learned about in this course.

- Recreate an experiment you have discovered in your research for this project.

- Research a specific theory or idea that interests you and do a paper, which will be presented to the class.

- Do reviews of three articles from a magazine or journal on psychology. Copies of the article must be handed in with the project.

- Come up with your own cleaver ideas for a project.

I want to know what you intend to do as a research project before we leave for Easter Break. I must approve all projects.

All projects must be presented to the class.

All projects must have a written component. The length of the paper will be determined by the project you select. Remember, this project is your final exam grade and your work must reflect your best effort.
