      4. Become aware of the changing nature of the brain as we age

      5. Understand the nature of stress, how we cope with it and its potential serious long-term affect

      6. Become sensitive to the often tragic effects of mental illness

      7. Appreciate the difficulty in treating behavior disorders

       

      Optional Content:

      1. Develop insight into their own behavior and the behavior of those around them.
